I saw San Gabriel descend from heaven
And scenes from the past to remember

He told me it was my Father was who sent me
I came to crown your pain

I am the herald of holy love
I was who made the annunciation of the Savior
I spoke with the Patriarch St. Joseph
I called and affirmed his faith

Back on Mount Calvary I watched over
And I held the hand of the Blessed Mother
I descend at a crucial moment
Signalling the divine route

I am a finger of the Father Creator
I guide in this suffering world
I shine in the star of the orient
I point in a vertical direction

Eternally, I want to thank
My Father did not let me forget
Here I come to salute Saint Gabriel
And all of the angels and archangels of heaven
